Bsense is the result of a research project that has been going on since November 2020 and is supported by a group of IT enthusiasts who are eager to improve the elderly’s quality of life through IoT (Internet of Things).
Bsense is a smart medical gadget designed with the elderly in mind. A beanie with an embedded pulse-oximeter sensor to allow smooth wireless monitoring of both oxygen levels in the blood and heart rate. Detecting silent anomalies (e.g hypoxia) in real-time can facilitate early intervention in the efforts to save more lives among the elderly population during the covid-19 pandemic and many other infections. Unlike the bulky bedside oximeters used today and uncomfortable finger clips, Bsense will preserve the mobility of the patient being monitored and help them stay active and thus recover sooner.
Fatima nominated for Entrepreneur of the Month by Drivhuset Stockholm because we see development and innovation in the idea. We believe that Fatima is a good role model in society for start-ups. We hope that Bsense gets the chance to be a part of the medical development of the future!
